Pregnant Again

So here I am, about 5 1/2 months into my 3rd pregnancy with my 4th child which is my 1st boy (did you follow that). I really can't complain too much. I haven't been nauseous or had any morning sickness, no terrible indigestion, no excessive weight gain, just the usual baby pounds, no swollen feet or ankles. My back has been giving me some trouble, the doctor said because it's my third pregnancy the baby is sitting really low and my back will probably hurt on and off the whole pregnancy, nice. There are how ever a few silly things I would like to complain about.

#1 Boobs. I've never been very well endowed, however, with pregnancy comes boobs. I miss being able to throw on a tank and not have to worry about support or discomfort. Don't get me wrong, I think breast feeding is an incredibly important thing and have full intentions on nursing this baby like all my others, but common...... I miss my small chest.

#2 High waist pants/ skirts. Nearly my whole non pregnancy wardrobe has evolved into a higher waisted retro style. I miss my clothes.

#3 No new ink. no explanation necessary

Now I could go on, no sleep, very little patience with the other kids, my belly button is popping out.... but those are the 3 main things that have been annoying me lately.

Stitch Rock Panic!

So between all the personal projects I've been working on and my lack of motivation brought on by first trimester pregnancy hormones, I've seriously been neglecting my Stitch Rock duties! In less than a week, on Saturday, October 1st, the best local indie craft show will commence! Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get in the mood to work on stuff. Now don't get me wrong, I have a substantial stock built up from past shows and working on stuff here and there, but as always, I have way more ideas than time. Perhaps I'll get a hand full more hats finished by the end of the week, or perhaps I'll just make sure everything I already have is ready to go.

So If you're local, go! www.rockthestitch.com This year is Stitch Rocks 5th birthday party so there will be lots of awesome stuff in the goodie bags and a party atmosphere! Get your party dress ready and your support the local artists, crafters and go be seen!!!

40s Dress Project

Been working on this little number on and off the past few weeks. I just have the zipper left to install and I have to hem it. Really excited about how it turning out. The fabric is something I picked up at a thrift store years ago. Its cotton with a bit of a stretch. Next time I'll use a fabric that lays a little nicer. The sleeves kinda stick out with the cotton.

Summer Uniform

Ruffle butt and cris-cross back. I want to make Cherry one of these for every day of the summer.

Summer Vacation

In just over two weeks, I will be livin' it up at our families quintessential New England vacation spot.

My Favorite things about Cape Cod

*The families cottage. Lots of old character, great retro counter tops, creaky wooden stairs.
*Out side showers
. There's nothing like showering in the brisk 70degree sunshine.
*The beach. I'll admit, i rarely go to the beach here at home, but there is something magical about the beach up there.
*Fish and Chips. Actually, any and all fried food. I'm drooling just thinking about it!
*4th of July. There's nothing more patriotic than a New England 4th of July! *Ice Cream Every Night. One word. The Smuggler.
*Kids Concerts on the Green
*Pancake Breakfast. Put on by a bunch of adorable elderly people at the church.
*Antique Mall. I usually can't afford very much, but I try to pick up something every year.

My list could go on and on, but I'll stop at that. Can't wait to bring Cherry this year. Last year was the first year we skipped our summer vacation since I've met Josh. We had our house on the market and we were trying to save like crazy for a new place. This year we plan on making up for it and really enjoying our vacation and our family.
